Bulk material handling at Thubelisha Shaft and Twistdraai Export Plant at the Sasol Twistdraai Export Mine, a joint venture for material handling at South32 and fine coal beneficiation project at the Coal Slurry Recovery Plant, Crushing and Screening of coal at Glencore Coal South Africa’s Impunzi Colliery.
DM Minerals received loan funding from the Sasol Siyakha Trust to purchase equipment in order to meet their contractual obligations to Sasol Mining, which not only grew the business but also added to company’s asset register and turnover. Thus, providing the landscape to expand and bid for new contracts. The shift from leased equipment to business owned equipment resulted in an increase of over 10% in their performance KPI. Having started the company with only two people, DM minerals has grown to QSE level and currently employs 50 permanent people and 16 subcontractors.
