NEWS FROM THE GROUP CEO

On November 18, 2022, DM Minerals Group held its year-end event, inviting staff members, stakeholders, and strategic partners to attend. The  Group CEO, Doctor Motswadire - opened the gathering by acknowledging DM Minerals Group Members, who he referred to as the true champions, thanking them for their collective commitment and dedication to the organisation. 

The CEO also reflected on a the history and journey of DM Mineral in preparation for the company's 7th anniversary on November 23, 2022. The CEO mentioned that DM Minerals Group was founded as a result of the founder's 20+ years of expertise in various corporate mining and his observation of the landscape's transformation and the paradigm shift from owner-operated to outsourced operations.

The CEO went on to discuss the difficulties and successes faced by the DM Minerals Group throughout its seven years of operation. 

The CEO made a future-focused comment about how change is a continual and inevitable part of life. “We must constantly keep in mind that change is inevitable as we negotiate the challenging volatile, unpredictable, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) environment. To survive in the VUCA world, we must be adaptable. We will need to consistently improve our business model to achieve this”. 

Someone once stated that culture will eat strategy for breakfast. Our success or failure will be based on our culture and ideals. The foundation of our organisation is our culture of discipline (people, attitudes, and actions), together with our core values. Without our culture and principles, we will not be able to realise our vision. 

The culture is shaped and driven by the values. You may see '8' values all over this building. These form the basis of our company and serve as its cornerstone. These values are all essential for a team to prosper. We will be successful when we work together, concluded the CEO.
